If you have an idea for a short film but don’t know where to begin, or if you have written dozens of short films that never get onto shortlists this one-day course is for you.

Working in the BBC and RTÉ (Shortcuts, Frameworks, Short Shorts, Filmbase, Cork Film Centre and Galway Film Centre among others) Eilish commissioned well over 100 short films, many of which went on to garner awards and Oscar nominations.

In one day, you will get to

• break down the elements of stories that work well in the short format.

• Identify key visual imagery.

• Learn how to pitch your idea.
